Swept-source OCT

  • The latest generation in retinal imaging

 

Optical Computer Topography (OCT) is an imaging modality that allows for detailed imaging of all layers of the retina. The latest iteration, swept-source OCT, uses a higher wavelength to allow superior imaging of structures below the retina and to allow the pictures to be taken much faster than with previous generations. This technology will allow us to track minute changes in the retinal appearance at different office visits so we know whether a condition is stable, improving, or getting worse.
