Swept-Source OCT: The Next Generation in Retinal Imaging
Optical Computer Topography (OCT) is a type of imaging that provides clear pictures of all layers of the retina. The newest version, swept-source OCT, uses a higher wavelength to take faster and higher-quality images of structures in the retina and beneath it. With this technology, we can monitor for minute changes in the retina's appearance during each visit to determine if a condition is stable, improving, or progressing.
